The Academy of Floral Arts was started in 1990 with the sole purpose of furthering education in the field of floral design. It was not only for professional florists, but for the crafters and home hobbiest who have chosen flowers as their medium to explore their creative talents. The videos are broken into sets and are very detailed. They are designed to teach and train people for business, business management, beginning design, and advanced design techniques. Some sets are designed for the beginner, whether they want to start a business, work out of the home, or create for their own enjoyment and giving.

The Academy of Floral Arts has put together a series of floral design videos on floral design instruction. Each set of floral design videos is a complete instructional unit. Each set taking you through a unit of floral art. They have been grouped together as to the beginner, the advanced floral designer, the home crafter, or the professional floral designer.
Each set of floral design videos have been done using three cameras to give you the most detailed floral design instruction on the market today. The floral design instructor, Don J. Pfannenstiel AIFD, AAF, PFCI, KAFA, gives you his knowledge and expertise. He is a seasoned floral design instructor and his teaching skills are unsurpassed by none. Following each lesson on floral design, you are given examples of each project shown to help you stretch your imagination.
